The East Dereham Relief in Need Charity is inviting people to apply for its Christmas grants.

The grants are given to people in the form of vouchers which can be exchanged at many stores throughout the town, including Somerfield, Roys, Palmers, Mobility 2000, Aldous of Dereham and Stead and Simpson.

To apply for a grant people need to pick up an application form from Case and Dewing in Church Street, Dereham.

Members of Dereham Meeting Point, based at the Jubilee Rooms, St Withburga Lane, can pick up a form from the Meeting Point manager, while residents of Doris Barnes Court can obtain the form from their warden.

People can also get the forms by sending a large self addressed envelope to Derek Edwards, Honorary Secretary of the East Dereham Relief in Need Charity, Lansdown House, Breton Close, East Dereham, NR19 1JH.

Each form comes with a return mailer and the forms must be returned to the charity by November 10.
