Colourful blooming celebrations for Dereham church
Let's Celebrate! is the title of a major fund-raising flower festival which opens tomorrow at St Nicholas parish church at Dereham and continues until Monday .
Let's Celebrate! is the title of a major fund-raising flower festival which opens tomorrow at St Nicholas parish church at Dereham and continues until Monday .
More than 50 arrangements will interpret some of life's major milestones and important anniversaries including the 125th anniversary of Dereham Football Club, the fortieth anniversary man's first landing on the Moon in 1969, the arrival of the parish's new team Rector, the Rev Sally Theakston, weddings and Christmas.
Cash raised from the event will be put towards the �50,000 appeal to provide the church with a complete new lighting system.
Join flower designers, Val Fisher and Ann Parnell, have come up with the ideas for the displays for the arrangements.

The flower festival will be open each day from 9.30am until 4.30pm, apart from Sunday, November, 22, when it will open from 11.30am until 4.30pm. Admission is free.
