Emergency services were on scene for three hours after a car crashed into a ditch.
An ambulance was called just after 7am on Monday morning following reports of a single-vehicle collision on the B1535 near Frans Green in East Tuddenham.
Norfolk police and two fire crews, from Dereham and Reepham, were also sent to the scene, where the vehicle was found to have gone into a ditch.
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to free a person who was trapped inside, before assisting the ambulance service with casualty care.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said one person has been taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Norfolk police added that the vehicle has since been recovered and the road is now clear.
