A building society in Dereham is giving their support to a popular football project for local youngsters.
The Nottingham's Dereham branch has provided Dereham Town Youth Football Club's Mini Kickers initiative with £100 in funding, enabling them to buy new footballs.
The club's chairman, Chris Mason, said: 'We are very grateful to The Nottingham for supporting Mini Kickers. The money donated has enabled us to purchase some much needed new footballs due to the growing number of children taking part.'
Mini Kickers provides coaching and guidance to children by students from Dereham Education and Soccer Academy - who themselves recently received a donation of £150 from The Nottingham to assist them with their work.
The building society will have a stand at Dereham's upcoming five-a-side tournament, which is set to take place in June, and they will help to give out Man of the Match certificates.
