Dereham man denies MTV star stabbing

A 42-year-old man yesterday denied stabbing MTV presenter Matthew Pritchard when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court.

Mark Edward Smith of Charles Close, Toftwood near Dereham denied wounding Mr Pritchard with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.

Mark Edward Smith of Charles Close, Toftwood near Dereham denied wounding Mr Pritchard with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.

Mr Pritchard who is a presenter on the MTV Dirty Sanchez programme was stabbed in the neck outside the Co-op Store in Toftwood on September 7.

Smith was remanded in custody and his trial is due to take place on February 15 next year.
