A 25-year-old Dereham man was due in court today charged with common assault.
It follows an incident on Monday in which police officers were called to an address in Keepers Close, Dereham at 12.07pm following concerns for safety.
Police attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of affray.
Kyle Clements, 25, of Keepers Close was later charged with one count of common assault.
He was remanded into custody and was due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today.
