A Dereham police officer was assaulted after being involved in a short pursuit.
Officers tried to stop the motorist during the early hours of Saturday morning and were then involved in a pursuit, before eventually pulling him over.
He was arrested for multiple offences, including failing to stop, driving with excess alcohol, driving while disqualified, dangerous driving and assaulting a PC.
He has been remanded in custody until Monday, November 6, when he will appear in court.
