Organisers of a reunion of former pupils of Dereham's Northgate High School are looking forward to a night of memories and mirth on Saturday as they take a journey back into the classroom.

Main organiser Tracey Aldous has been encouraged by the response for the reunion, which will be for ex-pupils attending the Cemetery Road school between 1985 and 1989.

The idea for the event came from Tracey, who has lived within 10 miles of Dereham all her life and now runs the family furniture business Aldous of Dereham.

She was assisted in contacting ex-pupils by friends Hellen Hetherington, a former dancer who now works in Attleborough, and Karen Walpole, who runs a business in Dereham called Kaandaro Event Videography. She is to make a video recording of the reunion evening.

Admission is £2 and proceeds will be donated to the Dereham Cancer Care fund.

Further information is available from Tracey Aldous on 01362 693580 or 07766 731435.
