A dedicated Norfolk runner is today taking on his 200th marathon.
Ian Odgers, from Dereham, has developed a reputation for his supreme dedication to marathon running over the past few years.
On Monday morning he is running once again in Suffolk in a bid to reach his double century.
In December 2017, Mr Odgers achieved the herculean task of completing 100 marathons in as many weeks, ensuring his place in an exclusive club of runners.
Marathons 98, 99 and 100 were run in the space of just three days.
But Mr Odgers, who is in his 50s, refused to stop there and instead set his sights on an extraordinary double hundred.
He has continued to document his efforts in the Dereham Times as he edges closer to the 200 mark, with his endeavours taking him across the globe to locations including Brazil, Japan and the highest altitude in Europe.
