Dereham school children had a chance to compete to be star bakers, during a visit from a top Norfolk chef.
Dereham Church Infant school hosted Richard Hughes, from the Norwich's Assembly House, for a masterclass in baking scones.
30 pupils from reception, year one and year two classes enjoyed the hour-long masterclass on November 14.
Deputy head, Amy Futers, said: 'When the school were first contacted about the masterclass, we jumped at the chance. We were delighted to Richard and were so excited to participate in the event.
'We feel very lucky to have had this wonderful opportunity. Every child spent the morning smiling and they felt so proud to have learnt new skills. They also enjoyed eating their scones.'
She added that the school would like to express their appreciation to all involved.
The children also left with a goody bag of a scone, fruit cup, and orange juice to remind them about the importance of healthy eating.
