Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze at a building in Quebec Street, Dereham, last night.Two appliances were dispatched from Dereham at around 9pm, bringing the fire under control within 15 minutes and retuning to base at around 9.
A Dereham takeaway was evacuated after a deep fat fryer was set alight.
Staff and customers were ordered out of the Hong Kong City Chinese, in Quebec Street, following the blaze, which was reported at around 9pm last night.
Two appliances were dispatched from Dereham, bringing the blaze under control within a matter of minutes. A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said there were no reported injuries or significant damage.
