Dereham Town's squad for the new campaign is rapidly taking shape ahead of their opening pre-season game on Tuesday night.

The Magpies revealed at the weekend that regular keeper Elliot Pride had committed to the club for another year.

A post on their official Twitter account said: "Delighted to announce the signing of our 2017-2018 Supporters' Player and Players' Player of the year, our very own number 1 - Elliot Pride. Welcome back."

Pride joins a long list of last season's squad to have signed up for another campaign under joint bosses Adam Gusterson and Ollie Willis, who guided the team to mid-table respectability in Division One North of the Isthmian League after taking over in January when they were in the relegation zone.

On top of that the Magpies have also added new faces to the mix in the shape of Jake Imrie and Eoin McQuoid, with the bulk of the squad set to get their first run-out of the summer at Anglian Combination outfit Bungay Town on Tuesday (7.30pm).
