A group of walkers took advantage of the fine weather and the Mid-Norfolk Railway service to take 25 members out to Thuxton for a seven-mile walk back into Dereham.
Organised by Dereham Walkers are Welcome, the route provided a variety of interest, with a range of paths, tracks and country lanes, taking them through woodland, beside streams and across fields.
There was time for a short pause at Wyvern Farm, where everyone stopped to say hello to the donkeys and alpacas.
The walkers came back along quiet back routes to return to the railway station to enjoy a late lunch in the refreshment room.

WaW, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, has now developed and published over 1,000 walks nationwide.
