Fire started in busy Norfolk town centre

Fire fighters have been called to the centre of Dereham after a fire broke out near the back of shops on the High Street.

Smoke was filling the town centre at about 1.

Fire fighters have been called to the centre of Dereham after a fire broke out near the back of shops on the High Street.

Smoke was filling the town centre at about 1.30pm due to the blaze.

A bush, part of a wall along Wakes Lane footpath, between Beach Court and Wilkinson's store, was put out but a crew from Watton fire station because the crew from Dereham was out on another call.
