A new comprehensive guide to walking trails in Dereham has been delivered to the town Library.
The Dereham Walks guide is a free pack containing suggested walking routes, which begin in the town centre.
The idea for a walking guide was initially trialled in 2015 when the town council secured a grant from Breckland District Council to prepare 3,000 guides and make them available in the library.
Over the following 18 months all of the guides were taken and there was a big demand for more.
The latest packs have been put together by the Walkers are Welcome group, which was formed in 2016. They are available for free due to grants from the town council and Tesco's Bags of Help fund.
The group hopes to make the packs available in more locations around town and they can also be found online.
