A mid Norfolk pre-school group is celebrating, after receiving a £250 boost towards a project to install an all-weather playground.
Marham Village Pre-school, which is based at Cherry Tree Junior Academy, was presented with the cash by Swaffham and District Lions Club.
It will go towards a £5,000 scheme to lay artificial turf, allowing youngsters to play outside all year round.
The group, which has been running in the village for more than 40 years, is a registered charity catering for nearly 30 chldren aged from two to five.
Swaffham Lions president John Collins, who dropped in on a play session to present staff with a cheque, was given a handmade thank you card by youngsters Izzy and Madison.
Pre-school manager Julie Walkey said the group, which is a registered charity, was grateful to the Lions for their support.
'The donation is a great start to our fundraising for the project,' she added.
