The children had to find 'Where's Wally?' who has been hiding in different places every day.

They were also asked to bring in photos of themselves and other family members reading in unusual places for a Caught Reading display.

The school also took part in Readathon which is the UK's sponsored reading event for schools.

The children read as many books as possible to raise money for Readathon to purchase books and story teller visits for children in hospital.

As well as encouraging the children to read for pleasure, the school gets 20pc of the sponsorship total which it will be spending on books for the school library.
