Hundreds of homes and businesses in mid Norfolk still have no electricity after Storm Ciara battered the county.

Severe weather conditions left thousands in the area without power on Sunday, February 9, with high winds and lashing rain wreaking widespread havoc.

Engineers from UK Power Networks battled to fix countless issues across the region, and many had their electricity restored by Sunday evening.

But on Monday morning there were unresolved power cuts in the Gressenhall, Litcham, Great Dunham and Tittleshall areas.

In Tittleshall, around 400 homes have been affected after an ancient tree fell onto a power line, damaging the church wall and graves in the process.

Between Litcham and Great Dunham, in the NR20 5, NR21 7 and PE32 2 postcodes, around 438 properties are still in the dark.

A message on the UK Power Networks website said its engineers were working hard to fix various issues as quickly as possible.
