Crews tackle tyre fire in mid-Norfolk

Firefighters remain at the scene of an industrial fire after eight tyres caught alight.

Two appliances from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service arrived at Beeston Road, Mileham, near Dereham, shortly before 8am today (Tuesday July 10).

The crews from Dereham used jets and a compressed air foam system to control the blaze.

No one is believed to have been injured.

One appliance remains on scene to control the burning.
