Motorists face diversions as a £94,000 project is carried out to repair and resurface the Dereham Road at Hardingham.
Work is due to start on Monday 29 September on a section of road from the junction with Church Road to about 300 metres south of the entrance to the Norfolk Golf Club at Reymerston.
The road will be closed to all through traffic until Friday October 3 and a fully signed diversion will be in place via the B1108 Norwich Road to Kimberley and the B1135 Norwich Road to Garvestone.
Access to any properties and businesses will be maintained from one end of the closure at any time, although Norfolk County Council has warned disruption is “inevitable.”
