Authentic tribal song and dance is set to liven up a mid-Norfolk town next month.

The Osiligi Maasai Warriors, from Oleopolos and its surrounding communities in southern Kenya, Africa, will be performing in Dereham, following a concert at Ely Cathedral on the same day.

Spokesperson for the church, Evelyn Speed, said: 'This unique performance should be quite a spectacle.'

Since 2003, the group has been performing an annual tour of the UK and has recently returned for six weeks.

As well as authentic Maasai tribal song and dance, they will also perform their world-famous Maasai jumping.

Since 2010, the group has worked in close association with a small UK charity - Osiligi Charity Projects - to support infrastructural improvements in their local community.

The warriors will be performing at St Nicholas' Church in Dereham, at 6pm on Sunday, October 7.
