Feathers were ruffled yesterday morning when a pigeon dropped into Morrison's supermarket in Dereham. The bird flapped its wings as it flew around the store and staff helped it make its way to a fire exit where it was let out.

A store spokesman said: 'The pigeon got into the store this morning by mistake and it was let out through one of the fire exits. It did not cause any damage to produce in the store and no one was injured.'
