The A1065 at South Raynham is expected to be closed for several hours after a two-vehicle collision.
Police were called to the scene by the ambulance service at 11.23am today and have closed the road in both directions.
Signs have been put up at Swaffham and Fakenham advising drivers to avoid the area, and police expect the road to be closed for 'several hours.'
Officers from North Norfolk Police and Norfolk and Suffolk's Road Policing and Firearms Operations Unit were still on the scene at 12.26pm, as well as the East of England Ambulance Service.
