Police to clamp down on illegal parking in Reepham
Motorists in Reepham are being asked to park legally or face a fine as police clamp down on road safety. The move comes after a rise in complaints by residents concerned about the safety of pedestrians and other road users.
MOTORISTS in Reepham are being asked to park legally or face a fine as police clamp down on road safety.
The move comes after a rise in complaints by residents concerned about the safety of pedestrians and other road users.
The Reepham Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) will carry out extra patrols in the area and will ask motorists to move on particularly those parking on double yellow lines and outside the Spar shop in Ollands Road.
The team continues to monitor previous issues raised at NPT meetings including anti-social behaviour in Felthorpe and crime reduction and detection at commercial premises in Lenwade.
