A group of schoolchildren from mid Norfolk recently took part in a money academy session.
Year 4 pupils from Swanton Morley Primary, near Dereham, spent a day learning about spending versus saving with a team from The Nottingham.
Branch manager Charley McIlwhan and customer services assistant Michelle Watson visited the school.
Ms Watson said: “It's a two-way street going into the schools – we get tremendously inspired by their upbeat positivity and they learn about something that it's never too early to learn about, responsible finances.
“The children at Swanton Morley were all extremely engaged with the subject and got involved with plenty of good ideas. Hopefully all of them went home with a better idea about saving for the future.
“We are looking to take Money Academy into more schools in Dereham, Fakenham and Thetford in the near future.”
The building society also held an Easter competition and all of the entries can be seen displayed in the branch on High Street in Dereham over the Easter period.
