Throughout February QD stores across Norfolk and Waveney including the one at Dereham are urging customers to join them in supporting local cancer charity, Big C.
By asking shoppers to donate their old mobile phones and empty ink cartridges for recycling, the company hopes to raise vital funds for the charity which will go towards purchasing equipment for local hospitals, funding cancer patient care and furthering research into the disease.
Collection boxes will also be placed at till points to enable people to donate money directly to the charity.
QD marketing manager Alan Hatcher said the group is keen to lend its support, particularly to a cancer charity which benefits the local community.
