Robin Hood and his merry men are set to make an appearance in Dereham to officially open a new building society.
The new branch of the Nottingham Building Society had a low key opening in December but on February 6 they will hold an opening celebration, with Robin Hood, Little John and the jester out and about in town to talk to people about saving.
There will also be a number of activities taking place in the branch itself, with a wheel of fortune offering people the chance to win prizes and an opportunity to enter a prize draw for £100.
The Dereham branch was the second of three new branches opened in Norfolk over a three week period in December last year. The first opened in Thetford and the third in Fakenham.
These are the first branches to be operated by the Nottingham in Norfolk and part of a major expansion across the UK, which has seen the building society's network double in five years.
