Rosa McMahon is the latest reporter to join the Dereham Times' team.
The 23-year-old has moved from the newspaper's Norwich office where she had been writing for Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News since January 2012.
Rosa was born and went to school in Norwich before going on to study Politics and Sociology at the University of Birmingham.
After work experience with the EDP, Rosa was offered a job as a trainee reporter and went to study for a 17 week journalism diploma in Newcastle as part of her training.
A year on, Rosa says she has her dream job and enjoys getting out and meeting people - something she is looking forward to doing more of in Dereham and the surrounding areas.
She said: 'The best part of this job is not knowing who or what you are going to come across, every day is different.'
Rosa is contactable on 01362 854702 or rosa.mcmahon@archant.CO.uk
