PE teacher Zoe Parish teamed up with music teacher Jon Cooper to organise a day of cycling-themed activities run with the help of Norfolk cycling coach Tony Witmond, who is a National aquathlon champion, and 15-year-old Northgate High School student and budding triathlete Callum Steadman, from Dereham.
Miss Parish said she and Mr Cooper - a keen cyclist who two weeks ago clocked up 200 miles around the Norfolk coast to raise cash for a disabled pupil - were keen for the school to celebrate the festival, which will see hundreds of bikes pass through north Norfolk towns including Wroxham, North Walsham, Cromer, Sheringham and Wells on Sunday.

"We thought it would be a great way of getting the children moving, it's something different and we hope it will encourage them to ride their bikes and scooters to school more often," she added.
