Snow causes bus delays on A47
The popular X1 bus service, which operates a passenger service between Peterborough and Lowestoft, carried on in this morning's heavy snows despite delays which meant some people were late getting to work.
The popular X1 bus service, which operates a passenger service between Peterborough and Lowestoft, carried on in this morning's heavy snows despite delays which meant some people were late getting to work.
The service operates from about 5.30am and makes stops at Norfolk and Cambridgeshire towns including Wisbech, King's Lynn and Dereham.
The service was delayed getting into King's Lynn and was travelling at speeds of between 10 and 15 mph along the A47 and the numbers of passengers were less than would normally be travelling on the route. The Lynn journey didn't arrive into Dereham until nearly 9.30am which was 45 minutes late.
