Children at Mattishall Primary School will be able to cook with confidence again after they were given two new ovens for the food technology room.
After hearing that their ovens had gone on the blink Hughes Electrical in Dereham came to the rescue and not only offered to help but joined forces with Hoover to donate two new applicances for free.
The two ovens had started to cause problems with food being either half cooked or not cooked at all.
Ms Findlay said: 'At the school we deem cooking to be an essential part of our curriculum as it has so much to offer children - measuring, speaking and listening, sharing, working together and reading recipes to name a few of the life skills it supports.
'We were overwhelmed by this generous offer and the staff and children would like to say a huge thank you to Hughes for its generosity. We can all enjoy cooking in school again.'
