A windsurfer was rescued at Wells on bank holiday Monday after his rig broke in high winds.
The man, in his 40s and from the King's Lynn area, was one of about 30 windsurfers in the harbour taking advantage of blustery conditions, which reached 45-50mph.
But his rig broke when he had surfed to the East Hills side and the town's inshore boat was called out to rescue him at about 10.40am.
The man was unhurt in the incident and he and his board were ferried safely ashore.
