Tickets to watch England's World Cup clash with Colombia at a mid Norfolk pub have sold out.

Paul Sandford, landlord of The Railway Tavern in Dereham, erected a £5,000 grandstand outside the pub for crowds to watch World Cup matches.

It has attracted national and international media attention and been so popular with locals that he decided to make the England v Colombia match a ticket only event, for health and safety reasons.

Mr Sandford has also brought in security for the game, said bags may be searched and under-18s will not be allowed entry unless accompanied by an adult.

Mr Sandford posted on Facebook: 'England v Colombia Tuesday at The Tavern is sold out. No tickets will be available on the night if you haven't got a ticket you will not be allowed in. Security will be in place and bags may be searched. Anyone with a ticket who does not appear to be 18 with be asked for ID. Strictly no under-18s unless accompanied by an adult. Thank you.'
