A village community is hoping to raise more than £1,800 by holding a Macmillan Coffee morning.

On Thursday, September 27, people living in Yaxham near Dereham, are being invited to attend a coffee morning in the village hall.

An annual event, this year will be the 14th time the village has held a Macmillan coffee morning. Hoping to top last year's fundraising total of £1,853, this year's fundraising event will feature traditional fete stalls, a raffle, tombola and a wellness room offering massages and manicures.

On the day, Colin Firmin, will also 'Brave the Shave' in a bid to raise £1000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Yaxham coffee morning will take place from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
