Hockering Football Club has been re-established, primarily with U14 girls, U13 boys and adult men's and women's sides for next season.
Hockering has been without a team at its playing fields for many years and has been subjected to many forms of vandalism, finally ending last season with a break-in and a fire.
Hockering Playing Fields Association were overjoyed to have youth and adult teams playing there again in the hope local people could join the teams and perhaps prevent acts of vandalism happening again.
The girls' team featured in the picture can be seen with new sponsors Mark and Nick from Gotech Electrical, Dereham who donated £200 to the girls' new kit.
Glotech have pledged to support the club further with training equipment vital to the running of the club.
The playing fields need draining and the club are looking for local support to help carry out the expensive work in the coming season and would welcome any new sponsors in helping them to achieve this.
There are 13 U14s and a couple of older girls helping with the training, but the club need some new players to join the girls' and ladies' football teams.
