CRICKET: Eight teams will compete for this year's Dr Fisher Cup in one of Norfolk's oldest 20-over competitions. Matches will be played at Fakenham's Highfield Lawn on Friday nights, 6.15pm starts.
The draw is: May 1 West Norfolk v Mattishall (sponsored by PMC); May 8 Shipdham v Sandringham (M D Williamson Carpets); May 22 Fakenham v Creake (Kingsway Tyres); May 29 Bradenham v Hillington (W Parker Jewellers). The semi-finals will be on June 12 (Papworth Butchers) and June 26 (Fakenham Heel Bar) with the final on July 10, sponsored by Fanthorpe's Unisex Hairdressers).
