Women from across the region turned out for a softball cricket festival at Bradenham Cricket Club.
The Sunday, May 7 festival was the club's first of the softball season and saw teams from Snettisham Cricket Club, Downham and Stow Cricket Club, and the NHS and friends and family of Bradenham Cricket Club play a round robin.
Snettisham CC beat Bradenham in the final by just two runs.
Bradenham ladies' captain Megan Herbert said: "What a great afternoon and advert for ladies' cricket.
"The weather was kind to us and everyone enjoyed the afternoon.
"Our congratulations to Snettisham Ladies who played very well throughout. Special mention to Sonia Thomas who organised the brilliant raffle and to everyone who helped make the day a real success.”
Bradenham CC’s men's team home game against Old Buckenham on Saturday was abandoned due to the weather.
Bucks managed to just complete their reduced overs innings, but persistent rain meant that no further play was possible.
