Dereham Town's new ownership have cleared their debts and say the future looks brighter.
In a statement on social media, the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division club said the financial work had been completed with "graft" to pay off debts.
"The club is proud to announce that the inherited debt, which was significant, with HMRC has now been cleared in full, along with all interest and penalties," said the statement.
"When the consortium arrived at Dereham Town two and a half years ago, there were a lot of fires to be put out.
"It gives us great pride that we are putting out these fires at no cost to the public or local funding, there's been no winding up, no debt ignored and no escaping the situation. We have grafted to repay what is owed from the past.
"We aren’t done yet, but we will continue on this course now and into the future with financial responsibility at our core.
"With 14 active members on our committee, 12 paid employees and our little army of fantastic volunteers, we are focused on raising the club's profile and standards - the future looks far brighter than it once did.
"Thank you to every single loyal Magpie who attends games, partners with us, supports events and likes and shares our posts, it helps more than you know.
"We are only just getting started."
