CRAIG Banwell, aged 12 from Wendling, is driving to success in the ministox formula for competitors aged 11 to 16. He has been racing since April 2007.
CRAIG Banwell, aged 12 from Wendling, is driving to success in the ministox formula for competitors aged 11 to 16. He has been racing since April 2007.
On Sunday, July 6 he came third in the Kent Championship at Dover and also won the next race.
On Saturday, July 12 he raced at Mildenhall for the Suffolk Open Championship.
A total of 46 cars were competing for the title. He qualified for the 28-car grid and won the race and the title. This was his first race win at Mildenhall.
He said a big thank you to his sponsors Banwell Haulage, Aldridge Paving and Developments, John Banwell Road Haulage, Thetford Autoparts and Cheldan Construction. Without their help and support it would not be possible.
