COCKERS FC were at home to Foulsham Reserves and both teams played good football on a very wet pitch. First half it was fairly even with both sides having chances, but there was no score at half-time.
COCKERS FC were at home to Foulsham Reserves and both teams played good football on a very wet pitch. First half it was fairly even with both sides having chances, but there was no score at half-time.
Second half Foulsham took the lead from a quick throw-in before Cockers equalised through a Rui-da-Silva penalty kick. Again Cockers caught out by a quick throw but Cockers fought back again with Rick Tribe finishing off a fine move. Near the end, Foulsham were awarded two penalties, but goalkeeper Jose Roque saved them both. Final score: Cockers 2, Foulsham Reserves 2. Man of the match: Jose Roque.
Next, Cockers are away to Splitz in the cup, 1.45pm kick-off.
