Indeed having lost a valuable member and a further member recovering but unable to play, the visitors surprised the Rebels by coming from behind in both opening triples to win both.
From then on the Rebels were in total control of the remaining five games winning all five and in dong so recording one of the biggest victories witnessed in the Memorial Hall in a game of five ends.
At the end of the match in which the Rebels won 10-4 the team had scored 67 shots to Wells 22 shots.
