Dereham professional Andrew Marshall had his best result of the season so far when he finished tied sixth in the Challenge Tour Allianz Open in France on Sunday.
Marshall recorded rounds of 70 and 73 at the weekend to finish seven shots adrift of winner Lee James, who beat German Florian Fritsch in a play-off to take the title.
He would have finished even higher had he not dropped three shots in his final two holes. He still picked up a cheque for nearly 3,700 and now stands a healthy 26th in the Challenge Tour rankings with around 6,100 to his name.
