IN a Mummery Cup tie, Premier Division Spixworth played classy football to lead 2-0 at half-time.

The second half saw Bradenham generally dominating. After scoring a good goal midway through the half they continued to create chances and looked likely winners. However, gaps were left at the back and Spixworth nicked a late goal.

This performance should give Bradenham confidence for their league home fixture against Watton United on Saturday, kick-off 2pm.

The reserves’ cup game at Freethorpe was called off. On Saturday the reserves are away to Harleston Town first team in a Norfolk Junior Cup match, kick-off 1.45pm.
