BRADENHAM moved up to third place in Anglian Combination Division One after another confident performance at high-flyers Long Stratton.

Stratton started at a quick tempo without creating any real problems for keeper Butters. After 20 minutes Bradenham started to dictate the play, despite kicking up the slope, with Bush unable to convert a half-chance.

The Bulldogs forced several corners from which King shot over and Forder and Hancy both had efforts on goal, but half-time arrived with the game goal-less.

Just a few minutes into the second half, Bradenham took the lead when Hancy controlled a Bush cross before spinning and shooting home.

On 51 minutes Forder chased a through-ball before rounding the keeper, who brought him down. The usually reliable Bush seemed to slightly mis-hit the resultant spot-kick to give the home keeper an easy save.

On 55 minutes Hancy produced almost a replica of his first goal to put Wanderers further ahead, this time after some good work by Miller.

Bradenham replaced Woodcock and Hancy with subs Dagg and Frost and continued on top with Spalding missing from a couple of half-chances.

Frost put his side further ahead when he ran on to a through-ball to score. A few minutes later Frost thought he had scored again but was given offside.

On 80 minutes Bradenham produced a fine move involving Miller, Bush and King and Forder which ended with Seabright through on goal. He was fouled by the home keeper to give Bradenham their second penalty, and Spalding made no mistake from the spot.

With just a minute remaining Stratton scored their goal with a close-range header from a corner.

This was another fine team performance, with Seabright, King and Hancy controlling much of the play in midfield, and the back four as reliable and solid as ever.

On Saturday, Bradenham entertain bottom club Bungay.
