Busy time for runners
Two Dereham Runners took part in the first of the series of three races at Great Yarmouth, Emma Potter Campbell 35:31.58 and Di Renshaw 48:13.02.Four took part in the London Marathon: Neville Knights 3-16:22 in his 12th London and 24th marathon, Paul Metters 3-57:48, Rory Campbell 4-04:11 and Sue Abbott in her debut marathon 6-21:59, raising money for the RNLI.

In the Great East Anglia Run 10k Emma Potter Campbell led the Dereham Runners home in 44:57, followed by Todd Lake, 44:57, Steve Gilbert 45:05, Nickola Buckley 48:44, Robert Sivell 54:55 and Curney Bray 59:42.
In the Breckland 10k at Croxton, Emma Potter Campbell did 45:51, Gill Woodhouse 49:27 with a second place in her age group category, John Richardson 49:58, Orla Jupp 52:40 and Lucinda Leonard 56:24.
In the second race of the series of three at Great Yarmouth, Gill Woodhouse finished in 39:20.37, second in her age group and Di Renshaw did 48:00.68.
The 10 mile race organised by Dereham Runners, sponsored by Lovewell Blake takes place Sunday May 17, starting from the Neatherd School at 11am.

Entries on the day are welcome, along with anyone who would like to support and cheer the runners home.
