Children's ward total well over �8,000
THIS year's Steven Carl Williamson Cup final was played between Reepham A and Foulsham Reserves at Reepham, a repeat of last year's final. Foulsham won 3-2.
THIS year's Steven Carl Williamson Cup final was played between Reepham A and Foulsham Reserves at Reepham, a repeat of last year's final. Foulsham won 3-2.
Phil Williamson organises this event annually in memory of his son Steven and to raise funds for the Jenny Lind Children's Ward at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
He presented the trophy to Foulsham and informed everyone that at that time �497.75 had been raised through the games this time, with still more money to come from other clubs.
Phil over the past years has already raised �8,060 for the Jenny Lind Ward.

He was thanked on behalf of Foulsham FC for all his hard work which enables the team to take part in what has become a regular feature in their calendar pre-season.
Reepham gave Foulsham no time to settle and took the lead early when a long-range shot beat the Foulsham keeper Sean Knowles.

Despite having most of the ball Foulsham only managed to send long-range shots into the box which the Reepham keeper had no difficulty collecting.
Reepham then scored a second following a mix-up in the Foulsham goal.
In the second half Stu Buck made some changes and Foulsham came out a different team.
Jack Abbott moved from right wing into midfield, Jack Ainsley came on the right wing.
Toby Gilbert moved to left back making way for Luke Sheppey to take the centre-half slot alongside James Tuddenham and Ben Darby came on up front.
George Abbott converted a Darby cross, Jamie Paling scored Foulsham's second to equalise then Darby scored Foulsham's winning goal from a free-
kick.
