BRADENHAM Cricket Club had a double reason to celebrate when both Brett Gates and Hannah Dewing were recognised at the recent NatWest OSCA's (outstanding service to cricket awards) ceremony hosted by the Norfolk Cricket Board, as winners in their respective categories.
Both are pictured receiving their certificates of recognition from Kieron Tuck, cricket development manager.
Brett won the 'behind the scenes' award in competition with 17 other nominees and Hannah won the 'young volunteer' category, new for 2010, recognising club volunteers in the 16 to 25 age category.
They were both nominated by the club in recognition of the valuable work they do, with the members of the Norfolk Cricket Board voting to determine the winners. Dave Caffyn was also nominated but was unsuccessful.
Brett and Hannah will now be invited to attend the national recognition event at Lord's in October.
