CRICKET: Swanton Morley CC has extended an open invitation to their pre-season meeting on Thursday, March 24, 8pm at the Angel Inn, Greengate, Swanton Morley.
The club has ECB Clubmark accreditation and there is a flourishing youth section, with teams of U11s and U13s playing competitive games. Cricket for girls is being actively encouraged.
The Angel ground is kept in excellent condition and there are superb facilities for training, under the watchful eyes of at least three qualified coaches.
The club is a member of the WNCL Divisions One and Four, the MNSCL Division Three and puts out three sides every weekend.
A new pavilion is in the process of being built which will provide even better amenities from July onwards.
It is hoped that as many members as possible will come along to the meeting and any new, prospective members of whatever age or level of ability, will be especially welcome.
