The final of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup, the league's premier cup competition, will present a real contrast with the leaders of Division Four taking on the current Division One leaders.

In the semi-finals on Saturday, Saham Toney had a comfortable 4-1 win over Morley Village Reserves while Hethersett Athletic proved too strong for Foulsham Reserves from Division Two, winning by the same score.

The final will be played at Aldiss Park, Dereham on Monday Bank Holiday morning, May 4, kick-off 10.30am.

North Elmham have withdrawn from Division One. Saham Toney have been the main beneficiaries from the points adjustment exercise as the only team from the top three to have dropped points against them this season.

In Saturday's matches, second-placed Thetford Athletic won 2-0 at Rockland United, East Harling Reserves moved up to fourth spot after their 5-0 win at Toftwood Rangers and Bridgham United climbed further up the table as a result of their 3-2 win at Gressenhall.

Division Two leaders Attleborough Town A extended their lead at the top of the table as a result of beating Yaxham Reserves 2-0 and Swaffham Town A's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Tacolneston. Watton United A move up to fourth spot after beating Wymondham Town A by the only goal of the game. In the bottom half of the table, Bunwell beat bottom team Necton Reserves 4-2 while Saham Toney Reserves took the points from a 4-3 win at Hingham Athletic Reserves.

In Division Three, leaders West End were on cup duty and Thetford Rovers Reserves closed the gap at the top of the table to five points with a 3-2 win at bottom team Shipdham Reserves. Bawdeswell stay third after beating Great Cressingham 3-2 but Shropham United in fourth place crashed to a 5-1 defeat at Bradenham Wanderers Reserves. Swanton Morley beat Gressenhall Reserves 3-0 and Wendling ran out 4-2 home winners over Rockland United Reserves.

In Division Four, Hindolveston stay second after beating Methwold Rovers 6-1 and Northwold SSC won 3-2 at bottom team Shropham United Reserves to stay third. Castle Acre Swifts beat Fakenham Town A 3-0 in the latter's final league match of the season while Colkirk were 3-1 winners at Beetley. In the other match, Splitz United beat Thurton and Ashby 4-2.

The semi-finals of Dick Davey Ambulance Cup have resulted in a first division v third division final on Wednesday, April 22. The third division leaders West End just had the edge on Hingham Athletic and ran out winners of a close but entertaining match 3-2 while in an all-division one semi-final Shipdham accounted for Yaxham by 4-2.
