The Hunny Bell Break Charity Cross-Country, organised by North Norfolk Beach Runner Ross Haddow, took place on the Stody Estate on Sunday.

The annual fundraiser for the Break charity saw 65 starters face the 2.4 miles for the under 13/under 18 junior race and 310 starters for the five-mile senior race.

The junior race was won by under 13 runner Danny Adams in a very good time of 12.48. The senior race winner was Iain Robertson, who led from start to finish to clock a very good 28.06.

For Beach Runners, first home was Eddie Carman. Perennial club ultra runner Carmine de Grandis clocked 31.27.

Dereham Runners Athletics Club took part with Howard Bailey fifth in 29 minutes and 36 seconds. James Nice (40.00), Ant Elsey (43.51) and Gill Woodhouse (46.02) also ran. Louise Juby and Toni Tarrant completed the Cambridge Half Marathon, Louise setting a best of 1-32.38.
